New Muscle Cars - Your Way

Custom Search

Dynacorn Factory

Do the new muscle cars seem less appealing when you think about the bankruptcies of GM and Chrysler? What if you just can't find that muscle car you always wanted, down to the last perfect spec? Here are some unique options that might work for you if you've got a large wallet.

Any muscle car buyer has faced the reality that a car that seems to meet "dream car" specs on paper is probably rusted, has been dinged and dented and then poorly repaired, and mostly likely re-painted by well-meaning but not expert technicians.

In addition to the asking price of the car, the price to bring the car to your acceptable standards has to be considered. Too often, buying new muscle cars seems like a better option.

Turn Key Camaro featuring Dynacorn Classic Bodies

Dynacorn Classic Bodies is part of Dynacorn Industries, a premiere supplier of hard to find classic car parts to the muscle car restoration industry.

Dynacorn has won multiple industry awards for their Ford and GM licensed reproduction all-steel bodies of some of the most popular muscle cars. Included in their catalog:

  • 1967-70 Mustang Fastback
  • 1967 Camaro Coupe or Convertible
  • 1969 Camaro Coupe or Convertible
  • 1947-50 Chevy Truck Cab
  • 1952-54 Chevy Truck Cab

The Dynacorn product is a great solution if you've found the right car but the body is a disaster. Their replacement bodies are made of a thicker but more flexible steel than the original muscle cars.

Some important things to know: Dynacorn doesn't manufacture the entire body, no fenders or hood come with the base price. They aren't cheap, around $21K including shipping. Please check the Dynacorn website for full information.

Classic Automotive Restoration Services

If a Camaro happens to be your muscle car of choice, a happy partnership between Dynacorn and Classic Automotive Restoration Services of North Carolina makes it possible to get a brand new, built to your specs 1969 Camaro. They offer a '69 Yenko Camaro or a '69 COPO as well, just in case you didn't get one the first time around.

This will cost around $100K but ask anyone who has done a complete rotisserie restoration of a classic muscle car how much time and money they spent and you'll be surprised to learn that the price isn't as high as you think. As a comparison, the new Challengers with the SRT8 and fully loaded cost around $42K.

For more information, and a video of examples of their excellent custom muscle car product, check out the CARS website. The CARS and Dynacorn combination might be the best option, from our perspective. It's pricey but will get you exactly what you want in that '69 Camaro to re-create what you used to have or always wanted. Great way to avoid buying those new muscle cars when you really love the original body style

However, if your wallet is very padded, and you want the muscle car look with all of today's engineering and conveniences, please read on!
